Justin (aka “Just-N Illusion”) Gray is a Seattle based artist.
“Just-N” is a versatile artist involved in painting, photography, music,
graphic design, and various art forms. Additionally, Just-N excels in
entertainment rigging, lighting, and general A/V work for numerous
Seattle event-based companies, along with others across Canada and
the US. With a rich production background, Just-N began as a local
stagehand in 2001, gradually expanding expertise to major tours.
Notably, Just-N’s initial significant tour engagement was at the
Tacoma Dome, in Tacoma, WA, for Tony Hawk’s “Boom-Boom Huck Jam”
featuring special guests The band “The Offspring”.
And that’s what started it all. Over the next few years, he then went on
to push boxes and learned all the ways of tour production firsthand,
working with renowned artists such as Aerosmith, Boston, Chicago,
Kiss, Roger Waters, and many others.
In 2003, he was invited for a west coast tour with a big-top production
called Cavalia, where he served
as the Lighting-Crew Director.
After returning to Seattle, he shifted his focus to Entertainment
Rigging and ventured into other high-angle roles. This included
rappelling down different buildings to install massive, oversized signs.

In early 2003, Just-N kicked off with Metallica’s “Summer Sanatorium
Tour” and since then has been behind numerous productions across
the PNW, working with music legends. From The Tacoma Dome to The
Moore Theater, and The Gorge Amphitheater, these iconic venues
have all been like a second home for Just-N, where every show
becomes a memorable experience
Just-N’s artwork over the years has been a testament to his extensive
experience in the entertainment industry.
Starting from humble beginnings in small local bars and taverns as a
DJ, to handling rigging duties for major shows like The Rolling Stones‘
“Bigger Bang tour,” Just-N has been involved in a diverse range of
productions. From trade shows to corporate events, the breadth and
scale of Just-N’s contributions over the years are truly impressive.
Just-N, known for his exceptional artwork, is now delving into lighting
stages, starting in 2024 with renowned musical artist Brian McKnight
and comedian Chelsea Handler.
In 2025, as his expertise grows through local shows, anticipate a future
filled with spectacular creations. Expect a diverse range of offerings
including murals, videos, songs, and exciting surprises to be unveiled

2025 hydroplane race team, he’s worked with over the years.
