Among the collection of wild skill sets I have acquired over the years,
the crazy world of entertainment rigging and rope access work
has put me in some pretty unique spots.
Here’s a few of them.
Just finished a focus run for “Ladies Night Out”. – Lighting Tech, rigger

In entertainment rigging we are responsible,
for everything that hangs from the sky.
We hang everything from small simple inflatables,
to complex sub-grids full of video, sound, lighting
and set-pieces. So learning weight distribution
was a pretty intense learning curve.
Shows these days can weigh 100’s of thousands
pounds and most people don’t even think about
what’s over their heads.
Aside from rigging shows and installing safety systems
for grids in various venues, I would also repel off of
various buildings in Seattle, such as the Space Needle
and Tower 801 in order to hang over-sized banners off of them.
As I go through my archives I realize,
I haven’t ever shared many of these unique views.
Hope you enjoyed another little walk through my crazy life.
